I found a BTAS Batmobile at Target on clearance for like $24!

Now I guess I need a BTAS Batman. Which one has a cloth cape so he can sit in the Batmobile?

Hoooooooly hell, that's a STEAL! Wish I would have waited. I'm not too salty and can swallow it, though, as I suppose someone has to pay full price to keep getting these made...and there's still so much more I want made. That someone was me this time. But damn, I wish I waited. Congrats!

At this point I can only speak for the first two waves of standard figures, but they both have cloth capes.

These are technically "DC Direct" figures and (as far as I know) most(all?) Have been re-releases of those original DC Direct releases.

That also kind of explains the cape situation. Only VERY recently has Todd started using cloth/wired capes on DC Multiverse figures. So anything up through spring of this year would still have a big rubber cape on it.

Yes. At this point every figure has been a reissue from the prior DC Direct lines except the build a figures - Maxie Zeus, Lock-Up, the supposedly coming Bruce Wayne, and Condiment King. I'm still holding out for more characters DC Direct didn't get to, Clock King being my most wanted. I absolutely loved his reinterpretation on BTAS. Went from a cornball character to actually pretty awesome. I always described him as like...your anal retentive accountant gone wrong. The biggest omission they skipped over, so big that it's actually pretty baffling to me, is TNBA Penguin. How they never made him is beyond me. Adding to the mystery, the redesigns for TNBA didn't all go over well...but the Penguins was considered among the best of them. I might even be the only one people near unanimously prefer to the BTAS design. You'd think he'd be the one they'd want to make. With the Penguin show going now and getting an overwhelmingly positive reception so far, I'm hoping we get a lot more Penguin love. There's some big holes in the characters legacy that need filled in action figure form by McFarlane, namely Devito Penguin, BTAS Penguin, and TNBA Penguin.

And this reminds me. So I made a chart for Batman centric figures by content in order to boil down what we still need. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner...so best I can do is try to remember. I went with what Wikipedia considered the "core" villains.

Classic Comic: Scarecrow is confirmed coming by Todd himself. Two-Face is heavily rumored and was on a leaked list. Still need classic Harley Quinn, Ra's al Ghul, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Talia, Ventriloquist, Firefly, Black Mask, Anarky, and Deadshot. This also excludes a lot of lesser roles. It also doesn't specify specific comic looks, just A more classic comic look. Case in point: Hugo Strange - we have him, but it's not a standard Hugo. It's Batman disguised Hugo.

Batman '66: Pretty much only need Mad Hatter. You'll notice a trend with Hatter. He's the character that applies to the most categories in my collection, yet he's yet to be made in any of them. I'm excusing show-only villains. This, however, brings me to the most complicated inclusion on all of this chart - Two-Face. He's technically NOT part of Batman '66, but he has a "What If" Batman '66 themed figure. This opens the door for possible more "What If" villains.

Burton/Schumacher films: Joker (Nicholson), Penguin (Devito), Catwoman (Phiffer), Bane.

BTAS: Penguin, Catwoman, Ra's al Ghul, Talia, Mad Hatter, Clayface, Killer Croc, Ventriloquist, Hugo Strange, Manbat. Strange was never made by DC Direct so whether or not he'll be made into a BAF is up in the air. He does appear as a main villain in one episode. It's often forgotten about, which is a shame because it's a great episode. Clock King isn't important enough anywhere else to make the chart...but he's noteworthy only here. I think he'll be the next BAF. Red Claw is also a solid guess.

TNBA: Riddler and Scarecrow are apparently coming. Mr. Freeze is heavily rumored. That leaves Harley Quinn, Penguin, Mad Hatter, Clayface, Ventriloquist, and Firefly. Four of those were never made by DC Direct - Penguin, Mad Hatter, Clayface, and Ventriloquist. In the case of Clayface, it's so close to that of the BTAS design it might be pointless to consider making. Probably why they skipped it to begin with.

The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ra's and Talia al Ghul are the only names on the villain chart that apply here that we also still need.

Arkham Universe: This gets complicated because their looks tend to change from game to game, so I'll just be counting if we have any from any of the four games. We don't have any Harley, Two-Face, Freeze, Ivy, Bane, Mad Hatter, Clayface, Talia, Zsasz, Firefly, Black Mask, Hush, Deadshot, Hugo Strange, Anarky, Man-Bat. I'm worried they've called it a day on Arkhamverse figures. I sure hope not.

For characters we DO have but have multiple different appearances across the games, we have Arkham Knight Scarecrow but not Arkham Asylums and we have Arkham Asylum Killer Croc but not the versions from Origins or Knight. We also don't have Arkham Origins Joker.

The Batman: We have every "face" character from this film, but the universe is just beginning so who knows what's to come?
